SANMA’s policy regarding the privacy of our Mailing List and Safeguarding Personal Information database:
It is the policy of SANMA to be proactively concerned about the privacy of all those who contact us through various means, including this website. Confidential and personal information submitted through this website is safeguarded with the utmost respect and diligence. SANMA does not sell or exchange our mailing list with anyone. In addition, we will always be responsible in our management, truthful in our advertising, and cost-effective in our fundraising.
In ministering for God through supporting various evangelistic campaigns, ministering to the abandoned and less fortunate of the world, we remain alert to ensure the trust that is placed in us is taken seriously. Every resource, whether it is intellectual or material, is used to its fullest potential in the most efficient way possible. We have an awareness that anything less than that would violate the trust that we have earned through integrity in our management and quality in our work. Along with other accountability standards we practice, we firmly believe that any negligence regarding the privacy and confidentiality of our partners and donors would be a violation not only of the trust they have placed in us, but also to all whom we minister, the children, families, and communities we serve, and most importantly, the trust God has placed in us.
The contact information database that SANMA maintains is strictly limited to the use of contacting the designated person on behalf of SANMA. Anyone may choose to “opt out” from our database at anytime. To unsubscribe, send an email to: unsubscribe@sanma.org with the word “unsubscribe” on the subject line. No other text is required. The email ID from which the email is being sent will be removed immediately. To remove a postal service mailing address, please provide the complete address when asking to be removed. You may also call 1-800-SANMA-14 (800-726-6214) within the United States.
In addition, any data may be removed if:
- The recipient requests removal
- The organization decides to remove
- Any other reason that may adversely affect the organization or its members
Online Donations Privacy & Security
Online donations submitted to SANMA are automated using a third party processing network. Transactions are encrypted using secure servers. SANMA does not have access to your credit card information, nor is it stored by the credit card processing network.
According to the federal Regulation E, which covers electronic funds transfers (EFT) such as your virtual check, in order to accept your virtual check - our processing network, VERUS, must verify your identity. To do this, information "known only to you" is encrypted and transmitted from the VERUS secure (128 bit) bank processor (Network 1 Financial) server to Equifax (the leading National credit information database). This information is not shared with SANMA or stored on the SANMA site.
