Lack of food kills six million children under the age of five each year.  Even before they come to realize the political, geographical, or natural reasons of poverty, they are succumbed to the cruel hands of death for having not enough to eat.  Each year, disasters such as floods drought and natural disasters leads to added number of orphans and street children in south Asia.

Lack of food kills more people than AIDS and malaria combined.  No global stability can be achieved without finding sources to provide food for the hungry.  Without food, there is no life.  Without food, there can be no development.

Lack of food is a problem that needs to be addressed, through a joint partnership with every compassionate heart in the world.  Beyond the political or other reasons, the food crisis offers every human being an opportunity to offer some comfort at the time of an excruciating pain.

Each year, through distributing rice bags, food supplies, and hot meals thousands of people are comforted at the most crucial time of need. The Bible powerfully teaches the importance of giving to the poor. King Solomon, the wisest of all times, reminds the world as how you can have life that does not lack;  “He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.”
