Rescue and rehabilitate the abandoned children

India?s street children is a case that calls for action

A Common Scene, a Serious Problem

Hurting scenes of homeless families and beggar children on the streets of India are the horrible demonstration of the poverty and ignorance that deprive millions of people a life that worth living. Unfortunately, the real stories of the street children are worse than they appear. Help to scale up programs that offer street children a life worth living.

As far as a street child is considered, her beauty is her biggest enemy. She falls prey of the greedy traders faster than others. Human trafficking is no small business.  An estimated 8 Billion dollars flow into the pockets of perpetrators of this internationally condemned trade.

What We Do

Sanma believes and teaches that it is everyone?s business to recognize and rescues vulnerable children on the streets and undesirable places.  While Sanma?s children?s home provides preliminary rehabilitation for the children, Sanma?s Community Education Center conducts in-depth awareness classes for the public as a preventive measure to this social stigma. Sanma Community Education Centers? operation is two-fold. The first part provides literacy and lifesaving health information for the homeless families and the street children. The other part is encouraging and challenging the general public and community leaders to advocate for these defenseless ones who are muted by illiteracy and extreme poverty.

Ways you can help

Through the past eleven years Sanma has helped orphans and needy to find hope. Today we invite you to join. Together, we can defend another defenseless young one. The cost of providing a set of clothing, shoes, and school supplies for a street child or orphan is $45.

Here are ways to contribute:

Rehabilitate a child $45

Monthly living & educational cost for a child $28

Blankets for street children and homeless families $7

Health awareness camp for a slum or homeless community $90
